Affiliated HospitalFounded in 1971, the Affiliated Hospital is located in Tungkang Town, Pingtung County, about 20 to 30 minutes drive from the campus. In 1987, the Hospital passed evaluation by the Bureau of Health and was promoted to the rank of regional hospital. In addition, the Departments of General Medicine, Surgeon, Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Urology passed the appraisal, enabling the hospital to become a professional training hospital capable of training over 20 medical specialists annually. In addition, the Hospital provides Fooyin students of nursing medical technology, midwifery, and physiotherapy departments with the opportunity to put clinical teaching and theory into practice and participate in improving the Hospital's quality of service and care. The current objectives of the Hospital include rendering quality service to patients, maintaining the welfare of the community, and concentrating on teaching and research in order to develop into a regional teaching hospital.
